Heart rate & variability
A 60 GHz radar reads the pulse through the fur, with motion cancellation so a good shake doesn't read as a jump. No skin contact.

You can't always be there. Petuno keeps the line open: heart rate, breathing and temperature, whether they're settled or restless, and exactly where they are, updated through the day. Check in when you miss them. Hear about it when something's off.

What the collar senses
The pod rides on the underside of the neck, where the pulse is closest to the surface. Nothing to shave, nothing to charge daily, nothing your dog has to get used to.

Radar · every 15 s
Breathing rate from the radar's micromotion sensing. It shifts with heat, effort and stress before much else does.
Micromotion · every 15 s
A contact thermistor tracks the daily temperature curve. Petuno cares about the shape of that curve, not a single reading.

A six axis motion sensor reads how your dog moves and how they hold still: pacing, a good stretch, or lying quiet for hours.

The app
How they are doing, where they are, and anything Petuno has noticed. Check in when you want to. It reaches out when it needs to.
Milo has had a calm afternoon. All quiet.
Milo's overnight resting rate has run 9% above his baseline for three nights running, while breathing and temperature held steady. Often nothing. Worth a look.
Every dog is different
A heart rate that is perfectly calm for one dog is a rev for another. Petuno never compares your dog to a breed chart. It compares today to their own last ninety days, so normal means their normal.

Where Petuno sits
There are good collars for finding a dog, and good collars for counting steps. None of them tell you how your dog is actually doing.

Still the tracker
Staying close means knowing where they are too. Petuno runs dual band GNSS against a cellular fix, with a fallback that keeps reporting when the network drops.
The hardware
The pod weighs less than a set of keys and sits flat against the throat, so the band never spins and the sensor never loses its contact point.

A monthly plan covers the cellular connection across Europe, full history, the baseline model and vet reports. Cancel whenever; the collar keeps working locally.

No. Petuno shows you your dog's state and vital signs and tells you when they move away from their own normal. It does not diagnose anything and it is not a substitute for your vet. Every alert comes with a report you can hand them.
Not literally. It shows you what is observable: calm, active, resting, restless, warm, asleep, plus heart rate, breathing and temperature. You read the mood. What Petuno does is make sure you have the picture, even from the other side of town.
Yes. The sensor pod sits on the underside of the neck and the band applies light, even pressure to part the fur at the contact point. No shaving. On very dense double coats the app asks you to nudge the pod a centimetre and confirms signal quality in a few seconds.
Vitals are processed on the collar; only summaries and flagged windows leave it. Your history is yours. Export it or delete it in one tap, and nothing is sold to anyone, ever.
We will publish a firm number after bench testing, not a lab estimate. The design target is several days of continuous vitals with periodic location. Live tracking at one second refresh is much shorter, and the app will always show the honest figure for how you actually use it.
